What is a POS?

A Point of Sale  (POS) system is a combination of hardware and software.    

A POS system is a highly evolved computerized cash register.  Today's POS systems not only include the prices, menus, floor layout, accept all forms of payments but also include employees time management, labor cost, detailed reporting and so much more.  

What is  EMV®  ?

EMV®  compliance reduces your liability for fraudulent purchases. EMV®  compliance stipulates that all businesses need to upgrade to accommodate EMV® chip cards.   Otherwise, your business will not be able to avoid liability shift and your business will be subject to absorbing the cost of any fraudulent transactions and be subject to chargeback fees assessed by the payment processor. 

What is PCI?

PCI DSS security compliance standards are mandatory and apply to all businesses and individuals accepting, storing and processing debit and credit cards.   PCI  compliance ensures that businesses operate in a secure network and ensure that credit card data provided by cardholders is protected.  

What is contactless payment?

 Contactless payment allows customers to make payments by simply tapping or coming close to the terminal with a card, smartphone, smart watch, fitness tracker, etc.
